Protecting your personal data is very important to us. Our app “Voice2Heart” can largely be used without registration. We process personal data solely in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations (GDPR).
Use Without Registration
The basic functions of the app (e.g., listening to or viewing content) can be fully used without creating a user account. No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted during this use.
Data Connection to the Web App (Firebase)
The app connects to a web application operated via Firebase. This is used solely to retrieve content and functions (e.g., texts, audio files, or translations). No personal information is transmitted to or stored on Firebase.
Local Data Storage
The app may store certain content (e.g., downloaded texts or audio files) locally on the user’s device to avoid repeated server requests. These files remain exclusively on the device and are not shared with third parties.
Registration and In-App Purchases
To use premium features (e.g., unlimited access to translation or speech recognition functions), registration via email, Google, or Apple login is required. The user’s email address is used to manage the account and associate purchases. Authentication and data storage are handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) . Firebase stores the user’s email address and technical metadata for account management purposes only. These data are used solely to provide app functionality and are not shared with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes. In-app purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The provider does not process any payment data.
No Storage of Voice or Text Data
Spoken or entered content used for translation and speech recognition functions is processed temporarily on the user’s device only. No permanent storage or transmission of such data to our servers or third parties takes place.
No Advertising, Tracking, or Analytics Tools
The app does not use any advertising services, tracking mechanisms, or analytics tools. No monitoring or analysis of user behavior occurs.
